Traceability

Traceability refers to the ability to track mangoes throughout all stages of production, processing, and distribution. It allows for quick and effective corrective actions when issues arise, such as product recalls for food safety or investigations into unexpected quality degradation. Traceability ensures that affected products can be identified quickly, minimizing disruptions to trade, reputation, and public health risks. It enables movement tracking both backwards and forwards at any point in the supply chain. Traceability is a key component of food safety schemes, such as Freshcare.
